Phantom Blade Zero’s wooden-heart quest: deliver the letter, find the recipient and return
The quest begins with a puppet woman reciting poetry. To receive the accessory at the end, deliver her letter, follow the recipient’s next stage and return to the quest giver.
This route takes place in the Village of Lu (陆家村). The section about finding the recipient again reveals a character’s fate. If you only need the starting point, read the first two steps.

1. Find the puppet reciting poetry
The Chinese quest guide places her near the shrine to the left of the bell at the blue-firefly temple (幽蓝萤火之庙, descriptive rendering). Speak to her several times to trigger the quest, then check that you have accepted the request before leaving to deliver the letter.Chinese quest guide ↗
English guides use differing names for this location, including Blue Fireflies and Temple of Butterflies. This article does not treat them as separate quest locations or claim either is an independently verified UI name.
2. Deliver the letter to the scholar
The recipient is near Survivors’ Courtyard (幸存者庭院). The Chinese route starts at the Engine Giant Remains bell (机关巨怪残骸): enter the house ahead, drop through the gap inside, turn left outside and use the rope to reach the courtyard below. Drop from the roof and interact with the courtyard gate.
Give the letter to the scholar sitting on the straw. According to the source, he leaves after receiving it. That is not the end of the quest: you still need to follow the next stage.
3. Find the recipient again

The Chinese guide describes another way to find the spot: travel to the terraces (梯田) and track the quest. It is not an instruction to find a second body. Use the bonfire and fields in the screenshots to recognise the location.
Collect the document identified as 歌女人偶的书信, descriptively the songstress puppet’s letter, then return to the temple (幽蓝萤火之庙).
4. Return to the puppet for the accessory
Speak to the original quest giver again to receive 人偶木心, called the Puppet’s Wooden Heart in the English-language source. Both the Chinese guide and PowerPyx record this final step.
