Phantom Blade Zero: where to return in Weeping Creek Valley after getting the chain sickle

Once you have the chain-and-sickle weapon 追命锁镰, revisit places near the beginning that you could see but not reach. This article selects return points from the Weeping Creek Valley exploration guide, rather than provide a complete collectible checklist.

The route includes area and quest-item details and a character’s fate. Names below are guide terminology or descriptive translations, with Chinese references; they are not independently verified English UI labels.Weeping Creek Valley exploration guide ↗

1. Check the chest across the starting cliff

At the place where the character wakes up, look back towards the cliff: a chest is on the opposite side. The starting-chest guide lists 追命锁镰 as the requirement. Note it if you lack the weapon, then return and use the corresponding ability once you have it.starting-chest guide ↗

If you follow the related character story, the valley guide also records a later conversation with the outpost captain and Gu Lingran’s body (顾凌然), along with an accessory, across the cliff. That is a character spoiler, not information every player must learn before getting the traversal ability.

2. Return to the tower top and find the deeper entrance

The route starts by returning to the top of the tower labelled 杀气塔, using the grapple to reach the previously restricted spot and collecting the key to the outer gate of the camp at the tower base (杀气塔底营地外门钥匙). Return to the valley-plain entrance (溪谷平原入口) and unlock the door into the deeper valley.

Near the bell at the viewpoint overlooking the dragon pillar (远眺龙柱处), the guide records a dragon-shaped key in a chest, plus books and conversations connected to other quests. Check the new access conditions first, then decide which thread to follow. You do not need to complete every newly encountered quest during this visit.

3. Open shortcuts and leave targets that need another tool

Along the waterways, the guide records collectibles and a grapple shortcut back to the waterfall suspension bridge. Prioritising routes that reconnect earlier areas can shorten later return trips.

The chain sickle does not make every collectible accessible. If the map says an overhead package needs a bow, check your progress towards obtaining 羽弓 before returning for it.

4. Treat the red house as the start of a later quest

At the tower base, the route includes breaking through an entrance, taking a lift down and discovering the red house. You find a door that will not yet open and receive a related clue.

This visit only takes you as far as discovering the entrance. The red-house guide places its opening later in progression; getting the chain sickle is not enough to complete that quest.red-house guide ↗

Keep separate notes on rewards you can reach, shortcuts you have opened and entrances still missing a requirement. When a new tool or quest step becomes available, return to those remaining points instead of searching the whole valley again.
